Membership 

JSFM offers three types of membership.

  1. Regular Membership: Professional researchers, engineers and graduate students (doctoral program only)
  2. Student Membership: Undergraduate and Masters’ program students
  3. Corporate Membership: Companies and institutes

Membership is open to anyone with interests in research, education and engineering applications of Fluid Mechanics.  Qualifications for membership are examined and approved by the Board of Directors.

To make an application for JSFM membership, the followings should be submitted to the JSFM office.

  1. Application form for JSPS membership
  2. Entry fee and membership fee for 1 year

Students also have to submit a document certifying that he or she is a university student.

Corporate member none 30,000yen (minimum)

Remarks:

  1. Please inform us if you need a receipt (this will be sent as an email attachment).
  2. Please include your membership number in the reference field when remitting.
  3. The member is asked to bear the burden of the bank transfer handling fee.
